Gareth Bale's future father-in-law 'to be released early from American prison'
A summer wedding could be on the cards for Wales and Real Madrid megastar Gareth Bale after his fiancée was told her father is being released early from prison.
Emma Rhys-Jones put her big day on hold after Martin Rhys-Jones was jailed for six years last August in New York state.
But Rhys-Jones, 54, is being freed 16 months early after “finding God” while behind bars in the United States.
Her family said Emma and Gareth, who is hoping to be back from injury in time for Wales’ crunch World Cup qualifier in Ireland in March, are now organising their plush wedding.
Rhys-Jones, a convicted fraudster, could give her away in church.
A relative said: “Emma is absolutely over the moon that her dad’s coming out early.
“The family has been told Martin is being released in June, providing he doesn’t misbehave.
“He’s never met his grandchildren, it will be quite a party when they all get together.”
